Today It crossed my mind that I may want to extend this juice cleanse to 14 days, but i'll revisit this on day 10. Am loving the combination of juices, energy and motivation combined with exercise and breathing.
This is the first time I have done a long juice cleanse having to look after children, and prepare delicious yummy food for them simultaneously. I thought this would be difficult, but surprisingly it has been quite easy.
On previous juice cleanses, I would have included infra red sauna sessions daily, colonics and any other supporting therapies I felt I needed. This time, I have kept it quite simple and straight forward by implementing essential oils, mineral salts, breath work and meditation. I journal each day to measure my progress and experience as well.
4 Red Apples
Ginger to taste
Alternate the ingredients as you put them through the juicer so as to keep the juicer mixing your juice and to prevent the celery strings from getting stuck or tangled. This can clog the juicer a little, but easily sorted by pushing apples through after the celery.
3 Beets (medium)
4 Stalks Celery
Wash and chop all the veggies and fruit and alternate when putting through the juicer. We used medium sized beets. You can also add the beetroot leaves too.
