Hot chocolate that will nourish and ground you. With its' earthy taste and natural sweetness, nutty wholesomeness and creamy texture this hot chocolate will nurture your core and give you the warm and fuzzies.
This is a delicious way to get your chocolate fix this Easter, and by adding a little grated chocolate and a sprinkle of cinnamon, you'll enjoy many cold nights in.
We love using homemade almond mylk, but any plant mylk would work well. Making your own is quite easy, or you could use a store bought one.
The addition of spices such as cinnamon, cardamon, chilli and ginger can make this hot chocolate extra special.
1 1/2 cups plant milk Coco quench or Almond mylk
2 medjool dates
2tsp ABC spread
1 TBS cacao powder
Grated dark chocolate
Place pitted dates, milk, cacao and almond butter in a blender. Blend until smooth.
Transfer to a pot and gently warm. Sprinkle with grated dark chocolate and cinnamon and serve!
